A True Life- Happiness Comes in Waves to make You a Warrior to Survive the Impossible
I was born in Santa Ana, El Salvador Central America. I was a miracle baby and I believed that God wanted me here for a reason. I grew up surrender by all kind of animals and I enjoyed learning about them, it was so rewarding. My dad always loved German Shepherds and since I remembered we had them and enjoyed their companionship and loyalty.
My family and I moved to Miami , Florida when I was 18 years old, learning English was not easy for me, as my primary language was Spanish. I never gave up and continue my studies in Music Marketing at the University of Miami. My life was always a challenge and never easy to achieve my goals. However giving up was not in my future plans. I love to work to conquer my achievements and learn everyday confronting my mistakes and weakness. I have encounter a few difficult tasks in my life in different areas of the business industry. I was bully, put down by people who were jealous of my qualities as a human being. I was sweet , loving and so caring and I still am; however, I have learned to protect myself from those ones who are negative and hurtful to others.
I moved to Nashville, TN with my husband at the time Tim and 2 of my dogs, Princess and Maggie, then Travis came along as well as others with time. At the time, I was and continue being in the beauty industry. However I started to watched Animal Planet starting to get more involved in the animal world. I learned how animals were abandoned, neglected and mistreated by their owners. I decided to found the SPCA of Tennessee with the purpose of helping more animals in the state. It has been 18 years of ups and downs in the animal rescue but at the same time with a lot of happy endings that came along throughout all these years.
As well as dogs I rescued a horse Jacob, he is a Mountain Saddle horse that the wonder passed away. I went to meet Jacob and immediately felt in love with him. He had a small injury on his forehead and he could not be sold for a higher price but because we are a non profit organization they could write it off on their taxes. I had been boarding Jacob at a wonderful place with Jackie Thompson in Lebanon until we finally get a place of our own for the SPCA of Tennessee. Jacob has giving me the joy to learn about horses and how amazing they can be.
I have faith that one day TOUCH OF HOPES will help people as well as animals to help them improve their lives and be as therapeutic for everyone as they are from me.
Its is so refreshing to know that I have done what I always wanted to do. We all make choices in life and whatever we decide to do it will make a true different in the person you will become. Animals heal our hearts and makes us be better with their unconditional love.
My passion for animals as well as music have inspired me to built this website to bring joy and happiness to the ones are struggling in their lives.
